Seatrium and Maersk Settle $475M WTIV Dispute

Singapore-based Seatrium has resolved its dispute with an affiliate of Maersk Offshore Wind, over the delivery of a wind turbine installation vessel (WTIV), originally intended for Equinor’s Empire Wind 1 project in the United States.Under the agreement Seatrium Energy reached with Maerk’s affiliate Phoenix II A/S, the parties will discontinue all legal proceedings related to the contract, agreeing to deliver the vessel by February 28, 2026.The settlement follows months of dispute after Phoenix II issued a termination notice in October 2025, which Seatrium rejected, maintaining that the buyer was in breach of contract.

Carol Howle, current executive vice president, supply, trading & shipping of bp, will serve as interim CEO.O'Neill is the first CEO to be appointed by BP from outside of the company and the first female to lead any of the top five oil companies in the world. The company began a major shift in strategy earlier this year. It cut billions of dollars from planned renewable energy projects and shifted its focus to traditional oil and gas.O’Neill currently serves as CEO of Woodside Energy.

Amon Maritime was awarded investment grants of NOK 298 million ($29m) from Enova to support the construction of three new ammonia-fueled bulk carriers.The vessels, each in the Kamsarmax segment with a capacity of approximately 80,000–85,000 DWT, are designed to combine high energy efficiency with carbon free fuel. Fully aligned with the requirements of the EU Emissions Trading System (EU ETS) and the FuelEU Maritime regulation, they are designed for the future, delivering strong economics under the evolving regulatory regime while ensuring compliance with ambitious climate targets.
