Ferry firm Stena Line’s role in the roll-out of Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine is going well, and the firm is prepared to deal with any eventuality of Brexit trade talks, the company’s Brexit chief said on Friday.“We have trust and confidence in the government to use these last few days (of Brexit talks) wisely... we will be ready for any eventuality thrown at us,” Ian Hampton told Sky News, adding that the transportation of Pfizer/BioNTech’s vaccine was “very good.”“Our ships are operating on time. We’re happy to be part of the solution to be able to make sure that UK gets the vaccines that is required so that it can start its program of vaccination on Monday according to the government process.

Greenbrier Marine, a division of The Greenbrier Companies, Inc. announced the delivery of OSG 205, a 204,000-barrel capacity oil and chemical tank barge for dual-mode ITB service pursuant to U.S. Coast Guard NVIC 2-81, Change 1. The barge was delivered to Overseas Shipholding Group, Inc. (OSG), a provider of energy transportation services delivering crude oil and petroleum products throughout the U.S. and internationally. OSG 205 was paired with existing tug OSG Courageous.The new tank barge is the second that Greenbrier Marine has delivered to OSG this year, after delivering its sister barge OSG 204 in May 2020.
Norwegian cruise ship operator Hurtigruten Group has appointed Hedda Felin CEO of Hurtigruten Norway, where she will take the helm of Hurtigruten’s coastal Norway operations.As CEO of Hurtigruten Norway, Felin will be part of the Hurtigruten Group Management Team, based out of the Hurtigruten Group’s Oslo head office. She will assume her new role on March 1, 2021Hurtigruten Group has reorganized its cruise operations in two different entities: Hurtigruten Expeditions and Hurtigruten Norway. From 2021, Hurtigruten Norway’s coastal operation will consist of seven custom-built, smaller cruise ships.
Glencore boss Ivan Glasenberg is to step down next year and Gary Nagle, head of coal assets at the mining and trading group, will become the new CEO.Glasenberg's departure will mark a shift to a new, younger leadership for the business, which, along with other mining companies, has faced increasing pressure from investors to cut carbon emissions.Glasenberg, 63, has been chief executive since 2002 and investors have been expecting a succession plan after several senior members of management retired in the last few years.He said his goal during his 18-year tenure as CEO was to transform the group by shifting the main focus from its trading arm to build up its mining business.
